Where to start with training

With dogs that haven't really bonded with owners yet or have never received any formal training or are so used to just having their nose on the ground, we can't start training before we get some focus. What we want to work on to begin with is the simple exercise of default eye contact.

Another nice and easy thing to teach a dog is to find something. They love using their noses and it's an easy way to bond with them and work on some focus.
