Private training for puppies & Dogs
All trainings are offered at one of our in-person locations, in-home or online with Adele which means you can expect a relaxed pace and a schedule that works for you. Whether you’ve got a new puppy, are teaching an older dog new tricks or have a specific behaviour you’d like to work on, Adele has a wealth of experience that she can draw on to assist you. Our private training sessions are designed to give you quality one-one-one time with a trainer to help you build the best life with your best friend. Puppy Foundation Course
Puppy Foundation Course
A 6 week supported learning experience that includes enhanced learning opportunities through Training Videos based on a specific curriculum we’ve developed for puppies. Recommended for all puppies from 7 weeks onward to learn the basics and set your puppy up for success in their new home with you. Includes one socialisation session.
Puppy Foundation Advanced Course
Puppy Foundation Advanced Course
A 4 week course for graduates of Puppy Foundation Course to continue your Sit Happens journey with advanced training. This course is based on a specific curriculum to advance your skillset based on your puppy’s learnings in the Foundation Course and must be started within three months of finishing your Foundation Course for optimal results.
Life Skills package
Life Skills Package
Develop your dog’s basic skills. Private sessions cover common training topics such as lead walking, recall, visitor training, cooperative care, calmness around distractions and more. Recommended for adult dogs who would like to work on specific skills and have not graduated from our Puppy Training Course.

Life Skills for Graduates
This course is suitable for any dog who has completed one of our puppy courses. A course for understanding and maintaining your training successes through the adolescent period.

Harness Swap
Harness Swap for In-Person Training Clients
Purchase a pre-loved harness for your puppy with a discount on every upsize as they grow! When your puppy is all grown up, we will fit them with their final pieces. Any pieces that were originally used will be replaced with a new piece. All we ask is that you return your used harness pieces (in good condition) when you upsize. This is a special offering only available to Sit Happens in-person training clients.

We only stock items that we have tested and know to be amazing. We are producing many of them right here in Christchurch and lots even have a One-time Replacement Guarantee.
