Puppy Lunch time visit
We highly recommend our Puppy Socialisation Sessions and our Puppy Classes to truly set your puppy up for a successful and happy life.
We also recommend to NOT bring your puppy to Daycare as that will set them up with lots of behavioural issues down the track. Read here why.
It is important for puppies to learn to be separated from their humans and be okay with being alone at home. However, a puppy can’t just be left alone at home for a full workday without any previous training towards separation. In our lecture we will teach you about short-term confinement areas which is usually the puppy’s crate that they can stay in during the day for x hours when they are x months old (2 hours at 2 months, 3 hours at 3 months, etc.) and about long-term confinement areas that are still small and keep puppy out of trouble, but allows them to relief themselves.
We also teach you about mental stimulation and how to use food to keep puppy busy. And we make sure you understand about the needs of quiet time for your puppy. They need to rest at least 18 hours per day!
If you or a friend, family member or neighbour can’t make it home for a lunch time visit, you can book us to come around for half an hour, let puppy outside to go toilet, give them a lunch feed, some play time, cuddle and training.
The price for this service is $30 (or $60 for an hour) plus Travel Fee, depending on the area you live in: Travel Areas (Some days we can make the Travel Fee for areas surrounding Halswell $30 as well. Please enquire).
Your puppy qualifies as a puppy until fully vaccinated or maximum 18 weeks old. Afterwards you can either consider our Group Walks or our Walk & Train Service.
I would highly recommend taking your dog or puppy to Lisa. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and a patient teacher with both people and dogs. She has excellent communication and very reasonable prices. She has taught us the skills we need to know to continue teaching our dogs new things. Don’t hesitate to give her a call for any of your doggy needs, she is amazing!!
