Katya - Puppy Class Trainer, Group Dog Walker & Administrative Assistant

Katya has always had a lifelong passion for animals of all kinds - especially dogs! She qualified as a vet nurse in 2015 and is currently working towards receiving her diploma. Alongside working with Sit Happens as a Group Dog Walker and training to be a puppy trainer, Katya also works in a vet clinic and at Dogwatch Sanctuary Trust. Her animals are her whole world and she currently shares her life with a Chocolate Labrador named Izzy, two cats - Harry and Lilly, and two horses - Money and Darcy. Nothing brings Katya greater joy than helping people and their animals, be that helping them learn about how to train and communicate with each other, helping match a human with their newest animal family member, or by helping treat and care for their loved furbaby at the vet clinic when they are sick and seeing them go home happy and healthy. Katya is passionate about communicating with and training animals by using force free methods based on mutual trust and respect and helping owners to create lifelong bonds with their special pets. Working alongside the other wonderful people who make up the team at Sit Happens is a dream come true!
