Group Classes
45-60 minute-sessions
Puppy Fun & Focus Level 1- Class (for puppies up to 18 weeks - unless SMALL, calm, shy ADOLESCENT - the earlier the better)
Puppy Classes Christchurch, Puppy Training Christchurch, Puppy Preschool Christchurch.
8 week class - $280, 5 dogs per class
(1st week online-seminar viewed in the comfort of your own home, 7 weeks with puppies)
###Puppies should join class as soon as from 7 weeks onwards, only requirement is that they have received their first vaccination.###
Puppy Seminar: socialisation, toilet training, nipping, jumping, chewing, handling, quiet time and generally how to set your pup up for a successful start in life.
Weekly Training Videos: all exercises practised in class will be sent through to you after class to watch again and share with the family.
Additional Puppy Tips: additionally to the practised exercises we will send you other tips and tricks to ensure good communication and a happy future with your puppy.
Weekly Q&A Sessions: puppies develop quickly and new questions come up all the time. You can ask them weekly at the beginning of class.
Socialisation: your puppy’s critical socialisation window closes at about 16 weeks of age. We allow for safe socialisation with people and puppies in our classes.
Basic Obedience: we work on basic obedience such as Sit, Down, Stand, Touch, Drop, Leave it, Recall, Lead Walking. All done in a fun and entertaining way.
Practise at Home: just a few 5-minute sessions a day will be enough and those constant bonding exercises will make you and your pup the best team in no time.
Longterm: you can always check back to the weekly training videos as a refresher later on and email through questions if needed.

Basic Obedience for Adult Dogs
Adult Dogs usually need some special attention when we start with training. They have a few habits that we want to correct and sometimes some little issues that we want to work on before we go into a group class. On the plus side they often know a lot of basic cues already. Therefore, we pick Adult Dogs up where they are at and prepare them for a Group Class in private training. Once they are ready, they can join our Level 2 Class.
Fun & Focus Level 2 - Class (for dogs that have graduated from Puppy Class or Adult Private training)

Would you like to proceed further on increasing distractions with the basic cues you already know, but also learn how to bring training to the next level? A dog that helps you to put their harness and lead on, a dog that calmly greets visitors, a dog that is relaxed at the vet and helps them with their examination, a dog that drops in a down on a distance, a dog that fetches objects for you or even tracks them down. Sounds too good to be true? Don't underestimate what you and your best friend can achieve with each other if you commit to the training and have fun!
If you haven't joined a Fun & Focus Level 1- Class, but have done some sort of previous training let's meet for a half-hour session to make sure we are all on one page. Maybe we can catch you up with some videos, so you can join Level 2 Class or maybe it turns out that you will greatly benefit from our Obedience Package instead.
